Compass Work, Hinduism & BeeBots
The children have had a very busy week at Kell Bank...
Class 1 and 2 worked together to learn about using a compass. They made their own compasses and the younger pupils (with help from a few friendly toys) followed instructions using positional language to find their friends who were hiding behind a beanbag!
Class 1 enjoyed a game of 'Phonics Bingo', which involved some excellent reading skills. They also had great fun programming BeeBots to travel around their classroom.
Meanwhile, in Class 2, the children have been learning about what it means to be a Hindu. They studied Gandhi, a very famous Hindu; the children were challenged to write a tribute to him that could be placed beside his statue in London.
